I prepared intensively for my oral French exam as part of my Matura (Swiss high school diploma) with Ms. Douls. In just four hours, we discussed my four chosen books together and concluded with a realistic mock exam. It was very helpful and motivating for me to work through all the exam material in such a short time with a dedicated, competent, and experienced teacher.

Madame Douls was my French teacher for six years – from the first year of my extended secondary school education until graduation. Her lessons always had a motivating atmosphere where mistakes were seen as learning opportunities. She placed great emphasis on active speaking – countless discussions and debates about literature, politics, and current events significantly improved my spoken French. And because she taught me French so thoroughly, I still speak fluent French a year after graduation.

Ms. Douls-Eicher was my French and homeroom teacher at high school for three years. Her classes consciously and encouragingly supported all levels of achievement—each lesson became a lively, open discussion in which we could all learn from one another and were motivated to participate actively and orally.
